Personal life
In 1977, Schwarzenegger's autobiography/weight-training guide Arnold: The Education a Bodybuilder was published and became a huge success. After taking English classes at Santa Monica College in California, he earned a B.A. by correspondence from the University Wisconsin–Superior, where he graduated Business and International Economics, in 1979.
On April 26, 1986, Schwarzenegger married television journalist Maria Shriver, niece President John F. Kennedy, in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The Rev. John Baptist Riordan performed the ceremony at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. They have four children: Katherine Eunice Shriver Schwarzenegger (born December 13, 1989 in Los Angeles); Christina Maria Aurelia Schwarzenegger (born July 23, 1991 in Los Angeles); Patrick Arnold Schwarzenegger (born September 18, 1993 in Los Angeles); and Christopher Sargent Shriver Schwarzenegger (born September 27, 1997 in Los Angeles).
Schwarzenegger and his family currently live in their 11,000-square-foot (1,000 m2) home in Brentwood. They used to own a home in the Pacific Palisades. The family owns vacation homes in Sun Valley, Idaho and Hyannis Port, Massachusetts.
