Maverick Arts Publishing Ltd was formed in 2008 by Steve and Karen Bicknell. It originally began as a way to market the best-selling funny animal calendars created and published by Icarus Arts Publishing. The calendar range has continued to be extremely successful with the titles selling in many UK high streets and also throughout the world via many websites.
All of the funny animal images are created by Paul Cocken, who is probably one of the very best photo retouchers working today. Paul lives with his family in Brazil but makes regular trips to the UK to work with Steve on new calendars.
