Watercolour Landscape Painting By Joe Francis Dowden

Joe loves painting water and marine subjects and his pictures are full of texture and detail. He has sold out at numerous one-man shows and exhibited throughout Britain. His works are in collections in the USA, Australia and the Far East. When not painting and cleaning windows, Joe enjoys restoring classic motorcycles and working as a volunteer on steam railways.
Joe has exhibited his watercolour paintings at the Singer & Friedlander Sunday Times Exhibition, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, Laing Art Exhibition, Chichester Open, Barings ING – Platform 100, World of Drawings and Watercolours, British Modern Masters, Royal Society of Marine Artists.
Joe stages one man shows at Albury and in southern UK and is the author of several successful watercolour books published by David & Charles, Sterling Publishing, Search Press, and also several watercolour DVD’s published by Teaching Arts and Pulsar Productions. Joe has written numerous magazine articles, and many of his publications are distributed worldwide.
