Girl In School Uniform Outfit
|
India
Schools uniforms are almost universal in India, from primary to higher-secondary level. Boys' uniforms often consist of light-colored shirt and dark long trousers. Girls' uniforms are most often shirt and skirt. Some schools employ Salwar Kameez for girls. Certain schools require their students to wear a tie; especially many schools run by Christian missionaries. As a policy decision, Indian government do not ban children from sporting religious symbols. Some Muslim girls wear a veil and many Sikh boys a turban in addition to the school uniform. Most schools, whether public or private, prohibit the male students from keeping long hairs, and/or colouring them.
