|
In addition to editorial work, Zahedi has produced images for such iconoclastic films as "Pulp Fiction," "The Addams Family I" & "II," "Get Shorty," "Edward Scissorhands," "Grand Canyon," and "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge" as well as "Mickey Blue Eyes," and "Jackie Brown." He has worked repeatedly with some of the most prominent stars ranging from Meryl Streep, Meg Ryan, Robert DeNiro, and John Travolta to Bette Midler, Barbara Streisand, and Diana Ross. Zahedi was recently featured in MOMA’s exhibition “Fame after Photography”which explored the art of celebrity portraiture.
In his personal studio, Zahedi explores the forms and lines of nature as expressed through the human form and florals. In this body of work, the artist is exploring aspects of traditional photography combined with a modern design sense and technology. His work has appeared in numerous books and exhibitions, and is represented by top photography galleries on both coasts.
