Raining Portraits By Nicolas Dumont
|
‘Letting someone stand in the rain’ is not exactly considered a friendship service. Photographer Nicolas Dumont, however, did exactly that when he invited some of his friends into his kitchen to have their picture taken under a cold shower.
To make matters more interesting, he instructed them to pull themselves together and focus on staring into the camera. The sessions lasted between ten and twenty minutes. Dumont says about the result: ‘I guess the water temperature felt better after a while as some of the best images were captured at the beginning’. Aha! With some friends, you clearly don’t need enemies. Nicolas Dumont lives now in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
