Beginning his career as a photographer, Mandler's work has been featured on the covers of major magazines such as Entertainment Weekly, Esquire, Men's Health, and ESPN The Magazine, and his celebrity portraits include Ryan Phillippe, Eva Mendes, Lebron James, Eminem, Colin Farrell, David Beckham, Heath Ledger, and Katie Holmes, among others.
Movie career
Mandler is currently developing Allegra, a film project with Gregory David Roberts, the author of Shantaram. He is also attached (jargon) to direct for Summit Entertainment the vampire film Vlad, which is being produced by Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner at Plan B.
