Surreal Photography By Jean-Yves Lemoigne

The frenchman Jean-Yves Lemoigne lives and works in Paris. After five years of working as art director for DDB Paris, In 2004 he became a freelance photographer and film director, having worked for some years as an art director in advertising. His instinct for the unmistakable staging of humorous and extremely funny pictorial narratives, on the other hand, must be something that he was born with. This can be seen illustrated in his photos for Volkswagen campaign, which won a gold medal in Cannes or in his Epica award-winning Le Barran Chicken where he demonstrated a talent for advertising with a touch of post-modern irony.
Jean-Yves Lemoigne’s photography is surreal, beautiful and thought provoking. His images range from unicorn-men in hard times, pixelated actresses, and regular folk hidden in the shadows. He has made some amazing pieces of pixel art for the 3rd issue of Amusement magazine.
