Jumbo Hostel In 747-200 Jetliner, Arlanda Airport, Stockholm, Sweden

During the summer of 2008, the plane was towed to its final destination at the entrance to Stockholm-Arlanda Airport where it was placed on a concrete foundation with the landing gear secured in two steel cradles. The hostel opened late December 2008.
Rooms
The Jumbo Hostel has 27 rooms with three beds in each and its more expensive "cockpit suite" located on the upper deck. Altogether the hostel holds 79 beds. All rooms have a flat screen television where guests can watch the times of departure for all flights. Throughout the jetliner guests have access to wireless broadband. All rooms share a shower and toilet in the corridor, except for the cockpit suite and a single person room which features their own.
