Underwater Photography By Jorge Cervera Hauser

Through both Calypso and Pelagic Life, Jorge was the producer México Pelágico, a documentary feature that unveils the Mexican open ocean wonders through the eyes of young conservationists while trying to substitute shark fishing with sustainable tourism. The documentary was the winner of the Director's Award at the San Francisco International Ocean Film Festival in 2015, and the audience award at the Vail Film Festival.
As a photographer he has held several exhibits and worked for international campaigns, like the famous "Visit Mexico" of the Mexican Tourism Board.
Also in 2014 Jorge served as Discovery Channel's ambassador for the campaign "Celebrando México" (Celebrating Mexico) and a TED speaker at TEDx San Miguel de Allende with his talk about The Call Of The Shark.
In 2015 the technology magazine WIRED wrote an article on Hauser's underwater photography.
