Kitara’s library of over a hundred sounds is just a starting point. Not only can you edit any sound, you can combine two or more sounds to create something all your own. Play one sound (or combination) on all six string positions, or assign different sounds to different strings. And if millions of sound combinations aren’t quite enough, Kitara can control compatible MIDI devices too. So you can set all string positions indivdually to output MIDI or play the built-in sounds. However you imagine it, Kitara can play it.
Express yourself
With its patent-pending technology, Kitara’s advanced touch screen gives you infinite ways to express your sounds as you play. You can apply a number of digital effects, including distortion, delay and modulation. But the real fun comes when you start mapping one or more effects to the x- and y-axes of the screen. Tap one location to play a sound with a desired combination of effects — or slide your finger to dial those effects up or down in real-time. On stage or in the studio, Kitara is the perfect place to let your imagination play.
