Becker Automotive Design began operations during the 1970s. With expertise in high quality music systems, security systems, and telecommunications, the company served the needs of the high end automotive community in Los Angeles for over 25 years. Customers included Rolls Royce of Beverly Hills, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Jaguar, Porsche, and Ferrari automotive dealers and their customers throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
In 1996, with an investment from a famous customer, Becker re-structured its mission to further develop the transformation certain SUV and van models into highly productive use, dignified, safe and DISCREET transports. This format also integrated the luxury and style, comfort and electronics that founder Howard Becker had pioneered in working with the European luxury car market, and with the customers that had ordered his conversions.
In 2009 Becker was approved by Mercedes-Benz to convert Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans into some of the world's most sophisticated transports, becoming an Approved Member of Mercedes-Benz' Customer Assurance Program.
