Aoife Walsh, the Miss Ireland 2013, who was born and reared in County Tipperary was recently bestowed the honour of a Mayor's reception in her home town of Clonmel. Aoife is in fact the third Miss Ireland from Tipperary which begs the question is there something in the water? Reigning Miss Ireland Aoife Walsh is topping off her incredible year with a postgraduate degree from Trinity College Dublin. Proving she isn't happy just being a pretty face, Aoife has completed her postgraduate diploma in Education from one of the world's most prestigious universities - her third degree overall. She already has a BA from University College Cork and a Masters in Business Management from the University of Limerick.
“I’m a total geek; a ginger nerd who lives in the library and has been studying for the last six years," she said in earlier interview. "So I think I deserve this break to give this a real go. This is my dream. I have always wanted to model, but I knew I had to study first. That’s why I’m late to the business."
