Glass Sculptures Based On The Fibonacci Theory By Jack Storms
|
In 2013, executives at Marvel Studios approached Storms about creating a unique glass cube for their upcoming film Guardians of the Galaxy. Storms received very little information about the plot of the film or how the cube would function in the storyline, but he researched comic book culture in determining the design. Works that were used on the set of the film were displayed at the Exclusive Collections Gallery in Beverly Hills in 2014. Some Marvel fans have speculated that the appearance of the Storms cube in the Guardians of the Galaxy foreshadows the upcoming feature film, The Avengers 2 which is rumored to be based on a "cosmic cube" or tesseract.
Personal life
Storms is married to Vivian Storms, with whom he has a son, Owen. They met when Storms was first working out of his own studio (StormWorks Studio) which also doubled as his home.
